How about keep the playing of the national anthem for national team games only like they do in almost every other country. Why the need to play the national anthem during non international games or domestic club soccer games in the US is something I never understood. None of the major European leagues play their national anthems before the start of their league games. Keep the national anthem playing to national team games and go from there.
