NWSL Challenge Cup: Pairings set for quarterfinals

The North Carolina Courage finished with a perfect record in the NWSL Challenge Cup's preliminary round when it beat Sky Blue FC, 2-0, on Monday night for its fourth win in four games.

U.S. national team stars Sam Mewis and Crystal Dunn each scored their first goal of the Challenge Cup for the Courage, which had already clinched the top seed in the quarterfinals, which begin on Friday.

The Courage will take on the Portland Thorns, who finished last in the preliminary round when they tied Northwest rival OL Reign, 0-0. The Thorns tied their last three games after losing to the Courage, 2-1, in the tournament's opening game that aired on CBS.

    Come on, Santiago. It's not about the National Anthem at all. Have you not noticed that everyone kneels in England before Every EPL match which never includes any anthem?
