The Southeastern Conference set new start dates for women's soccer.
The 2020 season will consist of eight conference matches, beginning Sept. 18, followed by the conference tournament
Nov. 13-22, in Orange Beach, Alabama. All 14 schools will compete with each team guaranteed at least two matches.
SEC soccer will also have a spring season. The format is contingent on
NCAA approving plans for spring championships for fall sports such as men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.
The SEC is one of just four Division I conferences that still plan
on organizing soccer competitions in the fall along with the ACC (men and women), Big 12 (women) and Sun Belt (men and women).
