Americans enjoyed a good day in Europe as the 2020-21 season moved into full swing. Chris Richards
came on as one of three substitutes in Bayern Munich's 8-0 win over Schalke 04 to
open yet another Bundesliga title defense.
It was the 20-year-old Alabaman's second appearance for Bayern. He made a late appearance in Bayern's 2020 title-clinching win in June.
Schalke 04 struggled late in the 2019-20 season so the defeat was no surprise. Just how big it was underscored Bayern's domination of German soccer.
