The Tar Heels improved to 3-0-0 with a 2-0 win over Duke 2-0 on Sunday. Carolina's
Izzy Brown and
Maycee Bell were named ACC Offensive Player of the Week and ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for their play in the game.
The award is
Brown's first and Bell's third, after collecting a pair of ACC Defensive Player of the Week awards in 2019.
The Tar Heels are back in action against No. 3 Clemson on Thursday in
Chapel Hill.
The top three teams are all from the ACC. Florida State is No. 2. The top 15 consists of teams from the ACC, Big 12 and SEC, which are all playing fall schedules.
