College: Six more NCAA Division I conferences reveal plans for postponed soccer seasons

Six more conferences -- Big Sky, Big South, Missouri Valley, Mountain West, Ohio Valley and Summit -- have announced plans for soccer play to take place in the first half of 2021.

NCAA Division I soccer is scheduled to be played in the winter and spring. The NCAA will hold scaled-back tournaments for both men and women at the D1 level in April and May.

Spring 2021 schedules:
America East
(8 men's soccer teams, 9 women's soccer teams)
Men: Six-game schedule starting Feb. 26. Postseason: four-team, single-site tournament on April 15-17.
Women: Six-game schedule starting March 7. Postseason: four-team, single-site tournament on April 16-18.

Atlantic Sun (7 men's soccer teams, 9 women's soccer teams)
Men: Double round-robin play in two divisions (one with four teams, the other with three) starting Feb. 26.
Men: Double round-robin play in two divisions (one with five teams, the other with four) starting Feb. 28.

Big Sky (10 women's soccer teams).
Women: Single round-robin play (nine games) starting March 12. Teams can play non-conference matches. Postseason: none.

Big South. (9 men's soccer teams, 12 women's soccer teams).
Men: Single round-robin play (eight games) starting Feb. 21. Teams can play up to three non-conference or exhibition matches starting Feb. 14. Postseason: Four-team tournament on April 12-18 at highest seed.
Women: Nine-game conference schedule starting Feb. 21. Teams can play up to two non-conference or exhibition matches starting Feb. 14. Postseason: Four-team tournament on April 12-18 at highest seed.

Mid-American (6 men's soccer teams, 12 women's soccer teams)
Men: Double round-robin play (10 games) starting March 7.
Women: Double round-robin play in two divisions (10 games each) starting March 4. Postseason: Final between division champions on April 17 at team with best record.

Missouri Valley (5 men's soccer teams, 8 women's soccer teams)
Men: Double, round-robin play (eight games).  Postseason: Four-team tournament April 13-17 at highest seed.
Women: Single round-robin play (eight games). Postseason: First round on April 10-11, semifinals and final April 14-17.

Mountain West (12 women's soccer teams).
Women: Double round-robin play in two divisions (10 games) starting March 5. Postseason: Final between divisional winners on April 17.

Ohio Valley (11 women's soccer teams).
Women: Single round-robin play (10 games) starting March 2. Postseason: details will be announced at a later date.

Southern (7 men's soccer teams, 10 women's soccer teams)
Men: Single round-robin play (six games) starting March 13. Postseason: four-team tournament with semifinals on April 9-10 and final on April 17.
Women: Single round-robin play (nine games) starting March 5. Postseason: four-team tournament with semifinals on April 9-10 and final on April 17.

Southland (12 women's soccer teams)
Women: Single round-robin play (11 games) starting Feb. 12. Postseason: four-team tournament on April 15-17 at top seed.

Summit (6 men's soccer teams, 9 women's soccer teams)
Men: Double round-robin division play (10 games) starting Feb. 13. Postseason: none.
Women: Double round-robin division play (16 games) starting Feb. 12. Postseason: Semifinals and final on April 15-17.

SWAC (10 women's soccer teams).
Women: Single round-robin play (nine games) starting Feb. 26. Postseason: tournament April 8-11 at Prairie View A&M.

WAC (12 men's soccer teams, 10 women's soccer teams).
Men: Single round-robin play starting on Feb. 6. Postseason: six-team tournament at UNLV on April 14-18.
Men: Six weeks of back-to-back matches against the same opponent and two weeks of starting on Feb. 18. Postseason: tournament at Grand Canyon University on April 14-18.

Fall 2020 soccer:
ACC (12 men's soccer teams, 14 women's soccer teams).
Note: Boston College men and N.C. State women aren't playing.
Big 12 (10 women's soccer teams).
SEC (14 women's soccer teams).
Sun Belt (5 men's soccer teams, 8 women's soccer teams).
Note: Howard men aren't playing.

    Are ACC, Big 10, SEC and Sun Belt playing in spring also, or just fall?  Thought I heard they were playing in spring also but doesn't show it here.
