Women in Europe: Tobin Heath spearheads Manchester United comeback in Mancunian derby draw

The first meeting between Manchester United and Manchester City since both teams signed a pair of American world champions ended in a 2-2 tie.

Tobin Heath was the inspiration for United's second-half comeback with a golazo in the 54th minute. Christen Press and Heath started for United, which is in its second season in the FA Women's Super League. Sam Mewis started for City but Rose Lavelle remained on the bench.

Dane Nadia Nadim scored seven goals
in Paris St. Germain's 14-0 win at Issy in France's Division I Arkema. The goals are most by a player in the French top-flight in more than two decades. They were the first of the season for Nadim, who spent four seasons in the NWSL with Sky Blue FC and Portland. PSG remained unbeaten with seven wins and a tie but trails Lyon, who has won all eight league games. PSG and Lyon meet for the first time this season on Friday.

Barcelona extended its shutout streak to 892 minutes with a 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in a battle of Spain's top women's teams. Goalkeeper Cata Coll set the tone for the game, denying former Barca player Toni Duggan from the penalty spot in the 8th minute. Patri Guijarro, Jennifer Hermoso and Lieke Martens scored for Barcelona, which is 5-0-0. Its game at Eibar on Sunday was postponed because of the host team's COVID-19 outbreak.
