The Columbus Crew, the top seed remaining in the Eastern Conference playoffs, had four players test confirmed positive for COVID-19 following testing this week.
There were no additional positive results for players or staff after more testing on Wednesday, four days before the Crew's Eastern Conference semifinal match against Nashville.
Two players tested positive on Sunday, the day after the 3-2 win over the New York Red Bulls. Two more players returned positive test results following Tuesday’s testing. All four players self-isolated.
All MLS players and staff are tested every other day and the day before each match.
