USMNT: Sebastian Soto added to roster for El Salvador game

Forward Sebastian Soto, who scored two goals in 13 minutes in his international debut in the 6-2 win over Panama, has joined U.S. national team camp in Fort Lauderdale

Soto, 20, became just the fifth player to score twice a USMNT debut, and second to do so off the bench, connecting from crosses from former Real Salt Lake academy teammates Richy Ledezma, who was also making his debut.

He joins two other 20-year-old center forwards in camp, Ayo Akinola (Toronto FC) and Daryl Dike (Orlando City), both uncapped.

Soto, who scored four goals for the USA at the 2019 U-20 World Cup, plays for Dutch club Telstar on loan from Norwich City. He leads the Eerste Divisie team with six goals in nine matches. He did not play in Saturday's 2-1 home loss to Cambuur.

The USMNT will face El Salvador Wednesday at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Ft. Lauderdale.
