    SA: You might consider a better source than BILD for player marks. BILD has been notoriously nativist for decades; I suggest KICKER SPORTMAGAZIN. Foreign players, including US, get better (and more accurate) marks.

    Kicker's ratings for the above performances (they use the same scale): Adams (3), Brooks (3.5), Hoppe (5), Reyna (3.5), Sargent (4.5) - a major difference on Reyna's mark, the others are the same or half a mark out. Nonetheless, I agree with you, Peter - I would trust kicker over the gutter-rag BILD every day of the week. Mind you, I don't think the BILD rankings have anything to do with nationality - they just haven't a clue about soccer.
