Watch: The Pogba strike that pulls Man United ahead of Liverpool

The Frenchman Paul Pogba's 17-yard volley, set up with a precisely delivered Marcus Rashford cross, deflected off Matthew Lowton and nutmegged Burnley goalkeeper Nike Pope  to give Manchester United a 1-0 win that moved it atop the English Premier League.

After 17 games, Liverpool, which fell 1-0 at Southampton, is now in second place with 33 points, three behind Man United. Third-place Leicester City and fourth-place Everton are on 32 points. Fifth-place Tottenham (29 points) has a game in hand on the top four and sixth-place Manchester City (29) has two games in hand.
