Hall of Fame: Candidates eligible for election to 2021 Class released

The names of all candidates eligible for election to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2021 have been released.

A new selection process will be used to select the recipients of the Class of 2021 in the Player, Veteran and Builder categories from 245 candidates. New selection committees will work in two stages to trim down the list of candidates and vote on them.

Hall of Fame: Changes to election process

The 2021 Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for May 22 at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, Texas, and will enshrine both the 2020 class (Carlos Bocanegra and Colin Jose Media Award winner Andres Cantor) and the 2021 class.

    Why is Chico Borja not in the Hall of Fame. He played with the best club in NASL as a very creative player for the New York Cosmos. He also played for the US National Team and many indoor teams.
