Tuesday: College soccer updates

Kentucky, which won five of six men's games played in the fall, opened its spring season with a 2-1 win over Xavier. Norwegian sophomore Eythor Bjorgolfsson's golden goal from the penalty spot was the difference for the Wildcats.

NCAA Division I Men: Dylan Borczak (Senior, Oakland). Hat trick and one assist last week in a 5-0 win over Robert Morris.
NCAA Division II Women: Ashley Merrill (Freshman, Dallas Baptist). Set a freshman school record (hat trick and one assist) in a 6-0 win overcool Harding.
