College Women: UCLA regains Pac-12 lead

UCLA regained the lead in the Pac-12 with a 4-0 win over Washington State and 1-0 win over Washington.

Arizona State, which had handed the Bruins their first loss of the season on March 26, split against Bay Area teams, falling to Cal, 2-1, before beating Stanford, 2-0.

Freshman Reilyn Turner had her first two-goal game, and Mia Fishel and Sunshine Fontes each added a goal and an assist in the win over WSU.

Against UW, Turner’s shot hit the crossbar off a Marley Canales corner kick, and defender Karina Rodriguez headed in the rebound for the game's only goal.
AAC | USF clinched at least a share of the conference title and a home-field advantage in the conference tournament with a 2-1 win over Memphis to improve to 6-0-0 in conference play. Sydny Nasello set up Katie Kitching for the Bulls' first goal and scored the second with a rocket from almost 30 yards out.

Big South | High Point (8-0-0) won its fourth regular-season conference championship in the last five years with a 3-1 victory over Presbyterian. It was the first game all year in which the Panthers trailed, but they responded with three straight goals, two from forward Sam Gerhart and the third from Salome Prat late in the second half to seal the win. The Panthers' eight-game winning streak ties the longest mark in program history.

Ohio Valley | Murray State  captured the regular-season championship with a 3-1 comeback win at Southeast Missouri. The Racers stormed back with three unanswered goals after Lauren Welker put SEMO ahead in the 11th minute. Rebecca Kubin tied the score in the 26th minute and Lilly Strader won the game with two second-half goals. The title was the fifth for Murray State.
