College Women: Top-ranked Florida State beats Orlando Pride

Florida State, the No. 1 team in the  United Soccer Coaches' NCAA Division I women's weekly rankings, beat the NWSL's Orlando Pride, 2-1, on Saturday in a scrimmage.

The Seminoles went 11-0-0 and won the ACC championship in the fall but they have yet to play a college match in the spring. They lost to the Pride, 2-1, in a scrimmage in March. The ACC title qualified FSU for the NCAA Tournament.

ACC rival North Carolina remained No. 2 in the United Soccer Coaches rankings. The Tar Heels (14-1-0) have won all three college matches they've played in the spring. They also fell to the NWSL's North Carolina Courage, 2-1, in a scrimmage in early March.

The only newcomers in the top 10 are No. 9 Arkansas and No. 10 Georgetown.
