Chelsea won England's FA Women’s Super League for the second season in a row and third time in the last four years when it beat Reading, 2-0, on the final day of the 2020-21 season to edge Manchester City by two points. The Blues' four titles are an FA WSL record.
Chelsea has also qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League final against Barcelona for the first time in its history.
Arsenal finished third to clinch the third English spot in the expanded Women's Champions League next season when it tied Aston Villa, 0-0, and edged Manchester United by one point.

when it tied second-place Wolfsburg, 1-1, on the road and maintained its two-point lead. Ewa Pajor's late goal earned Wolfsburg a draw and kept its slim hopes alive. With two games to play, Bayern's record is 18 wins, one tie and one loss (3-2 to Hoffenheim in April). Wolfsburg's record is 17 wins, two ties and one loss (4-1 at Bayern Munich in their first meeting).
