European races: Jesse Marsch completes second double with Red Bull Salzburg

In Jesse Marsch's first head coaching job in Europe, he has achieved back-to-back doubles.

After winning the Austrian league and cup in 2020, he did it again with Red Bull Salzburg in 2021, completing the double on Wednesday when it beat second-place Rapid Vienna, 2-0.

First-year American Brenden Aaronson started for Salzburg, which has won eight straight Bundesliga titles and the last three (and seven of the last eight) OFB-Cups

Marsch will take over as the head coach at RB Leipzig next season. He moved to Europe from the New York Red Bulls in 2018 to serve as a Leipzig assistant.
