TV: European Championship audiences are up 33 percent from 2016 on ESPN/ABC

Germany's 4-2 win over Portugal drew the largest viewership through the first two rounds of European Championship group play (the first 24 games, through June 19). The game averaged 1.83 million viewers on ESPN, which also gave it the largest audience for a group game in 2016 and so far at this year's tournament.

Compared to the Disney channels' viewership of the first 24 Euro 2016 games, this year's tournament's audience increased 33% -- 965,000 viewers vs. 723,000 viewers.
