Vlatko Andonovski on the 18-player squad he selected for the Olympic women's soccer competition, citing
Megan Rapinoe, the team leader in goals in 2021, and
Carli Lloyd, who has the most assists. The average age of the U.S. players at the Olympics will be 30.8. Lloyd and Rapinoe will turn 39 and 36, respectively, in July. The age of the other forwards will be 33, 32 and 32. (
