NISA: LA Force comes back from two goals down to reach final

The LA Force rallied from two goals down in the second half to beat Chattanooga FC, 3-2, and advance to Saturday's NISA final against Detroit City FC to determine the 2020-21 champion.

Markus Naglestad staked CFC to a 2-0 lead, but the Force rallied to even the score on goals by Christian Chaney, NISA's spring season scoring leader, and former U.S. U-20 defender Juan Pablo Ocegueda. Mexican Cristian Gordillo Moreno won the game with a goal on a free kick in the 82nd minute.

Detroit City FC is the host of the semifinal and final at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck. Le Rouge won the 2020 fall championship, 2021 spring regular-season title and 2021 Legends Cup. The Force and CFC advanced to the semifinals as the runners-up in the latter two competitions.
