The Fire has traded midfielder Josh Keller back to the Tampa Bay Mutiny for Tampa's first round pick in the 2000 MLS College Draft. "Josh Keller has been a very positive player both on and off the
field, and we appreciate all of his efforts during his time with us," said Fire head coach Bob Bradley. "We feel that the first round college pick in the future is good for the team and the
opportunity for Josh to play in Tampa is good for him as well." Keller appeared in six games with Chicago last season, starting three, he did not register a point. Keller was drafted by Tampa Bay
and later traded to Chicago for Jorge Salcedo and a 1999 No. 1 College pick. He totaled 15 games and 11 starts with Tampa and Chicago last season. That No. 1 college pick was packaged with another to
obtain Dema Kovalenko from the Dallas Burn.
