SA's 2021 Men's College Preseason All-America Team

Two players each from Marshall and Georgetown, the last two national champions, head SA's 2021 Men's College Preseason All-America Team.

Giannis Nikopolidis, Georgetown, Senior.
First-team All-America pick in 2020-21 season when he earned six shutouts in 12 starts ... Big East Co-Goalkeeper of the Year in 2019 when he split time with Tomas Romero ... Father Antonis was voted top keeper at Euro 2004 when Greece won championship.

Nico Benalcazar, Wake Forest, Junior.
Anchor of Deacs' backline that allowed just 0.94 goals against per match in 2020-21 ... Played every minute of the spring portion of the season ... Grew up with Gio Reyna, James Sands and Joe Scally in New York City FC Academy.

Nathan Dossantos, Marshall, Senior.
Part of Thundering Herd defense that allowed just 34 shots on goal last scoring ... Named the C-USA Preseason Defensive Player of the Year ... Starred for Sigma FC in League 1 Ontario before starting out in college at Duquesne.

Bridger Hansen, New Hampshire,  Graduate Student
Back for a fifth season after leading the Wildcats to an 8-1-1 record (the best winning percentage in program history) and a third straight America East championship ... Just second player in UNH history to receive first-team All-America honors ... Was previously an NCAA Division III All-American at Westminster College, where he played in 2018 and 2019 after starting out at Salt Lake Community College.

Kyle Heibert, Missouri State, Senior.
Started all 68 games over four seasons and returns for a fifth season at MSU, where he first enrolled in 2015 ... Two-time Missouri Valley Defensive Player of the Year (2019 and 2021) ... One of three Canadians among 15 semifinalists for the 2020-21 MAC Hermann Trophy.

Valentin Noel, Pittsburgh, Junior.
Finished second in the nation in goals (14) and third in points (30) in 2020-21 ... Set Pitt record with goals in six straight games in fall 2020 season ... Dressed once for Niort in France's Ligue 2 in 2019 before joining Panthers.

Dante Polvara, Georgetown, Junior.
Hoyas' spring MVP with a team-high eight goals with two assists for 18 points ... Scored four goals in seven starts as a freshman for the 2019 national championship team ... Won the 2018 and 2019 U-17/19 Development Academy championship with NYCFC and attended 2019 MLS preseason with NYCFC's first team.

Dylan Teves, Washington, Senior.
Led Huskies with seven goals and five assists for 19  points in 14 games... Only fourth UW player to earn first-team All-America honors ... Grew up in Hawaii but finished high school in Renton, Washington, while playing in the Sounders Academy.

Victor Bezerra, Indiana, Junior.
Scored 12 goals in shortened spring season, most by an IU player since Eriq Zavaleta (18) in 2012 ... Also led the Hoosiers with eight goals as a freshman in 2019 ... Finished tied for sixth in U-18/19 Development Academy's final season with 18 goals in 19 games for the Chicago Fire Academy.

Vitor Dias, Marshall, Senior.
Assisted on Jamil Roberts' game-winners in wins in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals, semifinals and final ... Conference USA Co-Male Athlete of the Year in 2020-21 ... Enrolled as a sophomore after playing in Sao Paulo FC academy and for Boavista in Carioca state league.

Zach Ryan, Stanford, Senior.
Pac-12 Player of the Year in the spring with 10 goals and three assists ... Scored 10 goals in 2018, the most goals by a Stanford freshman since 1980 ... Spent four seasons in New York Red Bulls Academy before enrolling at Stanford in 2017 when he redshirted.
