Arkansas remains unstoppable in SEC

After opening with losses at Top 10 teams Duke and North Carolina, Arkansas has rolled off a record 12 straight wins to climb into the No. 4 ranking in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll ahead of the Blue Devils and Tar Heels, now No. 6 and No. 7.

The latest win for the Razorbacks came on Senior Day when they crushed Missouri, 6-1, before 2,191 fans in Fayetteville to improve to 7-0-0 in SEC play.

Besides 1-0 overtime wins over Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, Arkansas has scored at least three goals in every SEC game.

Senior Parker Goins broke the Arkansas all-time points record with 105 points when she scored the final goal in the 83rd minute. Kayla McKeon, another senior, scored the first two goals in the first half while senior defender Cora Duininck, a transfer from Liberty, also scored. Junior Anna Podojil and sophomore Kiley Dulaney also scored.

Podojil, an All-American as a freshman and sophomore, is the Razorbacks' leading scorer with nine goals in 2021 and has 30 goals and 23 assists in three seasons.

“It was a good night to celebrate the seniors and their unbelievable contribution to this program," said Arkansas coach Colby Hale. "There aren’t enough words to express my appreciation, gratitude, and respect for this group. We don’t want this to end and we will fight to keep it going for as long as we possibly can.”
