Watch (golazo): One of the greatest Ligue 1 goals ever, yet banned on French social media

If you didn't see it, Tunisian Wahbi Khazri scored for French club St. Etienne from 70 yards on Saturday.

It wasn't a fluke goal.

Khazri, the highest-scoring Tunisian in Ligue 1 history and a dead-ball specialist, picked up a ball in Les Verts' penalty area following a Metz attack that broke down. He started dribbling and when no Metz defender came forward to challenge him he kept on dribbling. He looked up and saw Metz goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja off his line, so he fired a shot that bounced on the Metz goal line and over for the tying goal in the 1-1 draw.

Most French soccer fans might did not see it because the French pro league (LFP) , which holds the broadcast rights to Ligue 1, does not allow highlights to appear contemporaneously on French social media channels.

Even Amazon Prime, which holds the broadcast rights, and the LFP could not show the goal on its social media channels until after Sunday midnight.
