Despite his team trailing Eintracht Frankfurt, 2-0, Freiburg's Vincenzo Grifo volunteered that he didn't deserve a penalty kick following a challenge from former U.S. international Timothy Chandler. As Freiburg fans vehemently demanded a spot kick in the 55th minute Grifo told the referee his fall wasn't caused by Chandler's contact. The game finished, 2-0, from 34th and 43rd minute goals. "The penalty kick of course would have helped us," Grifo said. "But we want to win through fair means. I didn't feel he had hit me."
