Update: U.S. Soccer's talks with national team unions

In a series of tweets,  U.S. Soccer confirmed it met on Nov. 29 with the men's and women's national player associations, their first joint meeting.
Background. U.S. Soccer's collective bargaining agreement with the men expired at the end of 2018. Its CBA with the USWNT Players Association expires at the end of 2021. In September, it made what it described as identical proposals for a new collective bargaining agreement to both unions under a single structure and stated it would not agree to a CBA that didn't "take the important step of equalizing FIFA World Cup prize money."
What's next. No counter-proposals on addressing prize money equalization and a single CBA structure for both teams were presented at the meeting, but U.S. Soccer stated that it expected they will be sent in the next few weeks.
