This DW Kick off! production sets out to explain why Manchester United picked the the German Ralf Rangnick to plot its rebuild. Rangnick, who played amateur ball while studying to become a P.E. and English teacher, coached Hannover 96 and RB Leipzig to Bundesliga promotion, in 2002 and 2016, respectively. But ahead of being named Manchester United interim boss last month, Rangnick's head coaching stints have been short and he doesn't have a top-flight league title under his belt. The mini-doc recounts his career on the sideline, as a club executive, and checks in with Rangnick protege Thomas Tuchel.
