Kaide Gordon's slick equalizer in a 4-1 third-round FA Cup win over Shrewsbury Town makes him the youngest Liverpool scorer in its FA Cup history. Gordon, age 17 years and 96 days, beat the 2015-16 feat by Sheyi Ojo, who struck against Exeter City at age 18 years and 215 days. Gordon became the second youngest to score in official competition for Liverpool after Ben Woodburn, who struck in the League Cup in 2016 at 17 years and 45 days.
• Ojo and Woodburn now play for Millwall and Heart of Midlothian, respectively. • Two goals by Fabinho and a Roberto Firmino strike sealed Liverpool's win on Sunday.
