Steve and Gina Meyer spoke to their daughter, Stanford star goalkeeper Katie Meyer, hours before the 22-year-old was found dead at an on-campus residence on Tuesday. Appearing on NBC’s Today, they said she was in good spirits and the “usual jovial Katie” during the conversation, but that they believed she received an email regarding a disciplinary action and that she might have been in trouble.
