Manchester United improved its chances of earning a UEFA Champions League spot with a 3-2 win over Tottenham that moved it into fourth place. Cristiano Ronaldo scored all three goals. He has now scored a dozen goals in 24 English Premier League this season and his career total of 807 goals in competitive play is believed to be a world record.
Tottenham got its goals from Harry Kane -- between Ronaldo's first two strikes -- and a Harry McGuire own goal nine minutes before Ronaldo's gamewinner.
