• Catarina Macario named to D1 Arkema Best XI
. In her first full season with Lyon, Macario has scored 21 goals in 31 games for Lyon, which has a five-point lead in the D1 Arkema and will face Barcelona in the UEFA Women's Champions League final. She was one of five finalists for the Player of the Year presented to PSG's Marie-Antoinette Katoto at the Trophées UNFP ceremonies. (Trophées UNFP)
• Holmes' Huddersfield headed to Wembley. Duane Holmes started for Huddersfield Town in its 1-0 win that gave it a 2-1 aggregate win over Luton Town in the English Championship promotion playoffs. Huddersfield will play Nottingham Forest or Sheffield Wednesday on May 29 at Wembley Stadium for a berth in the Premier League. (Minute by minute)

Major League Soccer:
• Allianz Field gets new playing surface. Minnesota United is installing a new stitch system -- 100 percent natural grass cover reinforced with synthetic fibers -- intended to strengthen the root system and the resistance of the grass to damage. The St. Paul facility, which opened in 2019, hosted the USA-Honduras match on Feb. 2 and will host the MLS All-Star Game on Aug. 2. (Report)

IFCPF World Cup:
• U.S. women go for gold. The USA will face Australia in Tuesday's final (6:45 a.m. ET kickoff). The game will be a replay of Sunday's match the USA won, 4-0. The U.S. men fell to Brazil, 2-0, in their bronze-medal game. (Streaming)
