• Two streaks end. Racing Louisville won its first game of the season, after opening with a loss and two ties, by beating the San Diego Wave, 1-0, on Savannah DeMelo's 27th minute free kick. The loss was the first of the season for first-place San Diego, which opened with three straight wins. (Report)

• Brianna Pinto gets first pro goal.  Challenge Cup winner North Carolina Courage remains winless in league play after losing its second game of the season, 2-1, to the Orlando Pride. Sydney Leroux and Mikayla Cluff gave Orlando a 2-0 lead by halftime. Brianna Pinto came on in the 75th minute and scored the first goal of her pro career in the 86th minute. (Report)
