• Charlotte hires Brandi Fontaine. In four seasons at High Point, Fontaine was named the Big South Coach of the Year twice. Sam Houston State announced Sonia Curvelo as the third head coach in the history of its women’s program. They bring the number of new D1 women's head coaches for 2022 to 52. (New women's coaches)
