Down 2-0 with Liverpool en route to a 3-1 win over Wolves, Manchester City scored three goals in five minutes for a 3-2 win over Aston Villa to maintain its one-point lead over the Reds and lift a second straight Premier League title.
This game was scheduled to be shown on NBC yesterday, but it wasn't. Was that just because my local cable provider decided to show something else, or was it nationwide?
Interesting that Villa gave #1 GK Martinez a 'rest', no? Also strange that they subed out Cutinho after he scored the 2nd goal to make it 2-0, before 'City' had their 'comeback'? Strange, no? Nothing to do with the $15M bonus Villa will get from 'City' for Grealish winning Premier League? No. Of course not. For me, this Sunday was like the Champs-Elysees stage of the Tour de France - only for show. Only thing missing was sipping champange on the pitch during the game by 'City' players. Have a nice day!

No I watched it on NBC on my cable. There was a little switching over to the Liverpool game but otherwise the game was there.
So, it was just local, then. Thanks.
