TV Watch: Concacaf extends agreement with TelevisaUnivision

The new agreement covers exclusive Spanish-language rights in the United States for the 2023 and 2025 Gold Cups and 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions of the Concacaf Champions League. The 2023 CCL will be the last in the current format before a major expansion beginning in 2024.
Univision networks will carry the new W Championship and Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship this summer. The W Championship will serve as qualification to the 2023 Women's World Cup and 2024 Olympics in women's soccer. (CBS Sports holds the English-language rights to the 2022 W Championship.) The Concacaf Men's U-20 Championship in Honduras will serve as qualifying for both the 2023 U-20 World Cup and 2024 Olympics in men's soccer.
Also included in the agreement: two editions of the Concacaf Men’s U-17 Championships, two editions of the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championships and one edition of the Concacaf Futsal Championship.
The previous 10-year deal expires at the end of 2022. TelevisaUnivision is the new parent company that owns Univision and its other networks (UniMas, Galavision, TUDN and steaming service ViX).
