Hartford Athletic head coach
Harry Watling stepped down to attend to family matters in England.
Technical director
Ray Reid, the former UConn head coach, will serve as interim head coach and will lead the search for a new head coach.
Watling, who previously worked in academy programs at Chelsea, Millwall and West Ham United, joined Hartford ahead of the 2021 season. He leaves with a 15-23-8 record.
“Coach Watling is a smart, young coach with a bright future ahead of him,” said Reid. “We are very disappointed he is leaving the club but understand he needs to do what’s best for him and his family."
Assistant coach Jake Davis also resigned.
• The move was the second coaching change in the USL Championship in two weeks. FC Tulsa parted ways with Michael Nsien. Former Jamaica international Donovan Ricketts was named interim head coach.
