• Ethan Horvath is loaned to Luton Town.
Promoted Premier League club Nottingham Forest has loaned Horvath to the Championship's Luton Town. The move follows the signing of Manchester United's Dean Henderson on a season-long loan as the replacement for outgoing Forest starter Brice Samba. • Career:
Horvath, 27, joined Forest in 2021 on a free transfer from Belgian champion Club Brugge, where he was stuck behind veteran Simon Mignolet. He made only 11 appearances as the backup to Brice Samba, helping Forest reach the FA Cup quarterfinals. He started his European career with Norway's Molde. • New club:
In the need for playing time to make the U.S. World Cup team, Horvath will battle for the starting job at Luton Town, which used six goalkeepers in 2021-22 and recently acquired Matt Macey from Hibernian.
