Around the Country: Black Star expansion, new U.S. Soccer reporting platform

Black Star program expanded to four cities. On-field programs (youth clinics, U.S. Soccer coaching clinics and ID events) and pop-up events will be held alongside local Black-owned businesses in Washington, D.C., Detroit, Los Angeles, and Houston. For Soccer Ventures' Black Star celebrates the diversity of Black soccer culture and increasing access to the sport.

U.S. Soccer engages RealResponse reporting channels. The federation will use the anonymous texting portal to allow national and national youth team players, coaches and the families of young players to report about training issues, SafeSport concerns and health and safety needs. The NWSL and several of its clubs use the platform.
