• Rowdies close in on top spot. Tampa Bay won its fifth straight game and extended its unbeaten streak to 11 games with a 3-1 win over Atlanta United 2. Steevan Dos Santos scored the first two goals for the Rowdies, who moved to within one point of leader Louisville City.
Western Conference:
• San Antonio FC wins first Copa Tejas. Santiago Patino's fourth goal in the past three games gave first-place SAFC a 1-0 win over El Paso to capture the season series with the Locomotive and Rio Grande Valley FC. Milan Iloski scored two goals and added two assists for Orange City SC in its 5-2 win at LA Galaxy II. His 14 goals are one less than Ottar Magnus Karlsson's league-leading 15 goals.
