Tab Ramos returns to Telemundo's World Cup broadcast team

Telemundo Deportes, which will air the 2022 World Cup exclusively in Spanish on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock, announced plans for its Qatar 2022 coverage.

The anchor will be chief play-by-play commentator Andres Cantor, the National Soccer Hall of Famer and six-time Emmy award-winner.

He will be working alongside Miguel Gurwitz, Ana Jurka, Carlota Vizmanos and Carlos Hermosillo, the Telemundo hosts leading the pre- and post-game analysis from Telemundo’s studio located at the center of the Souq Waqif Marketplace in Doha.

Former Mexican international Manuel Sol will join Cantor in the booth as lead analyst, while other play-by-play commentators will include Copan Alvarez, Sammy Sadovnik and Jorge Calvo.

The team of on-air personalities will also include former U.S. star Tab Ramos, who served as a Telemundo expert in Russia four years ago. Also selected was new U.S. U-17 women's national team coach Natalia Astrain, who was a soccer analyst for the Tokyo Olympics women soccer coverage.
