NYCFC's Sean Johnson, one of four goalkeepers to see action for the USA in 2022 along with Matt Turner, Zack Steffen and Ethan Horvath, conceded an odd own goal in his team's 1-1 tie with FC Cincinnati. Johnson, the 2021 MLS Cup MVP, also made highlight reels for the wrong reasons in 2019 with a similar back-pass mishap — although that time he was closer to the ball.
