Watch: Luis Figo break world record in zero gravity soccer game

You've heard of futsal. You've heard of beach soccer. But have you ever seen soccer played in zero gravity?

On Aug. 2022, Luis Figo played in a four-a-side game ... at 20,230 feet. Weightlessly. Figo and seven other players floated around on a parabolic flight that simulates weightlessness by soaring in alternating upwards and downwards arcs.

It’s the highest elevation a soccer game has been played.

Guinness World Records adjudicators gave the players the title for the "Highest Altitude Game of Football on a Parabolic Flight."

Just another feather in the cap for the Portuguese legend.
