In Brief: 2023 USL Championship season

• Teams. The 24 teams, all returning from 2022, will be divided into two conferences -- 12 in the Eastern Conference and 12 in the Western Conference.
• Games. Each team will play 34 games, two against each of its conference rivals and one against each team in the opposing conference.
• Schedule. The regular season will begin March 11 and end Oct. 14. The playoffs will remain a single-elimination format and end with the final in November.
