Major League Soccer: Offseason moves

• Geovane Jesus joins FC Dallas on U22 Initiative. The 21-year-old Brazilian, signed through the 2026 season with a club option for 2027, gives FC Dallas help at right back. He played 27 games for Serie B Cruzeiro in its successful 2022 promotion campaign.

• Denil Maldonado signs on loan with LAFC. The 24-year-old Honduran international will play on loan from Motagua for the 2023 season. The defender played in nine 2022 World Cup qualifying matches and three games at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
