Shawn Danhouser won U.S. Soccer's second annual ADAPTandTHRIVE Disability Award, given to an individual for making an impact in the U.S. landscape of Disability soccer. He won for his work on the Board for Diversity and Inclusion in Soccer with the U.S. Soccer coaches community, as well as with US Youth Soccer’s TOPSoccer training program for athletes with intellectual, emotional and/or physical disabilities.
