Winners of the 2022 Summer Deaflympic Games in Brazil, the U.S. women, led by Coach Amy Griffin, gathered for their first 2023 training camp in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
WOW! Never knew they even had a team? Kudos to these young ladies. Great to see them with such determination. Would be nice if they showed some of their games on TV.
I agree with the comment. It is great that there is a USA National Team for deaf people. I appreciate that even more because I have more than 80% hearing loss in EACH one of my ears. I've been wearing hearing aids for 19 years. I agree that some of the games should be shown on television. Obviously, it would good publicity for the team and for soccer in our nation.
