In the FIFA Club World Cup opener, Egypt's Al Ahly beat New Zealand's Auckland City, 3-0, to earn a clash with the tournament's Concacaf representative, the Seattle Sounders, on Saturday.

The Sounders, which will become the first U.S. team to play in a Club World Cup, like Wydad Casablanca and Al-Hilal, which also play Saturday, join at the second round stage. Real Madrid and Flamengo enter at the semifinal stage.
The winner of the Al Ahly-Seattle clash will face Real Madrid.
