After almost four weeks of training at Olympic Stadium, CF Montreal became the last cold-weather team to head to warmer climes, flying to Fort Lauderdale on Sunday. Montreal will spend 12 days at Inter Miami's Florida Blue Training Center before heading to St. Petersburg for the remainder of preseason. It begins the regular season Feb. 25 at Inter Miami ... MLS Cup runner-up Philadelphia has opened preseason with three wins and one tie—all against MLS opposition in Florida. In its most recent outing, the Union beat New England, 2-0, on goals by Daniel Gazdag and Jesus Bueno. Its three U.S. U-20 players—Brandan Craig, Jack McGlynn and Quinn Sullivan—all started. It will remain at its Clearwater base for three more games.
