MLS: D.C. United and Dallas win exhibitions

MLS clubs won a pair of exhibitions against Central American opponents on Saturday.

D.C. United beat Aguila of El Salvador, 4-0, before 17,453 fans at RFK Stadium.

Eliseo Quintanilla had three assists against his old team, setting up Jaime Moreno twice and Bobby Convey for goals. Roy Lassiter closed out the scoring in the 80th minute.

The only down note was a groin injury suffered by Justin Mapp, who was selected to the U.S. under-20 national team for World Youth Championship qualifying Nov. 13-17 in Charleston, S.C.

Dallas won the New Orleans Saints Pan-American Life Cup with a 6-5 victory on penalty kicks after its match against Olympia of Honduras at Tulane Soccer Field in New Orleans ended in a 0-0 tie.

The Burn used numerous gust players from the A-League.
