Watch: The shameful scenes from Fulham's FA Cup loss to Man United

The FA Cup quest of Fulham, with Americans' Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson, ended in disgrace as Fulham received three red cards in last Sunday's 3-1 loss at Manchester United. After the VAR correctly ruled for a Man United penalty kick because of a handball by Willian, who was ejected for denying the goal, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Coach Marco Silva were red-carded for abusing referee Chris Kavanagh. (Ream at one point tried futilely to contain Mitrovic).

Silva, who threw a water bottle at the assistant referee, had already become the first EPL manager this season to be suspended for accumulated yellow cards.

Mitrovic, who reportedly earns more than $4 million annually, automatically gets a three-game ban for the red card. The English FA has confirmed that Mitrovic will receive a longer suspension.

Despite getting mobbed by several players from both teams, only Mitrovic and Silva were carded for their behavior.

The game's only other cards were cautions Man United defender Harry Maguire and to Fulham's Robinson and Andreas Pereira for fouls.

The loss of Mitrovic hurts Fulham's chances of finishing high enough to play in Europe next year, but they will avoid relegation, continue to grow and thrive.  Coach Silva needs to get a life, cool down.

Martinez picked his pocket all day long and Mitrovic just got frustrated. If he hadn't elbowed the ref he would have been OK. To start, if Willian hadn't jumped and just chested down the ball Fulham could have avoided all of that. Oh well, Fulham didn't want to play in Europe that much anyway /S. Clint--the previous generation's Fulham hothead who knew where that line in the sand was--must be cheesed off, watching that.
